Here are a few new paintings. This batch has a few color combos that I have never used before. Now that I will have more free time to photograph, you can finally expect an updated website and a blog full of paintings! Unfortunately this batch was photographed with my phone so naturally they are a little dark- sorry.
What's the verdict? Yes or no to surprise colors?
In other news, my Fortuny Interiors book arrived today. I am making myself wait untill I get home to read it. I did flip through and can't wait to read more!
Random note- the book is an unusual size, which I love. It's not your typical coffee table book.
Also for those of you who don't stalk Melissa Rufty's website, she has added new pics. It's hard to choose a fave but these three are up there.
You have to go and take a peek at the rest. Love her designs & use of color! You can see some of these houses in New Orleans New Elegance by Kerri McCaffety, which is another great book to check out.
